Q-1 Solve the following equations:

1.       2x-3=7

2.       (x/3) +(3/2) =(-5/12)

3.       2x+9=4

4.       X-(3/7) =(-14/3)

5.       X+(11/4) = (13/2)

6.       (15/4) – 7p = 9

7.       (3x/4) + 3  = 18

8.       6.6x – 3.2 = 10

9.       8 – 3x = (-10)

10.    X + (3/4) = (27/4)

 

Q-2 Word problems:

1.       The digits of a two-digit number differ by 3.If the digits are interchanged, and the resulting number is added to the original number, we get 121. Find the original number.

2.       Sonam is twice as old as Manali.Five years ago Sonam’s age was three times Manali’s age. Find their present ages.

3.       If the length and the breadth of a rectangular field are in the ratio 6:4. Find the length and the breadth if the perimeter of the rectangle is 150unit.
