B. Cross out the articles where they are not
needed:
1. A molecule is the smallest a particle of a substance that
can exist and still keep the properties of the whole.
2. For example, if you break down a molecule of
sugar the elements would not have the characteristics of the sugar- its taste or its
colour, among other things.
3. In some substances, the molecules are very simple. In others the
molecules have a thousands of the
atoms arranged in a complicated pattern.
4. In some gases, such as the helium and the neon, a molecule consists of only the one atom.
